Introducing Web Colleagues - Work At Home Opportunities Part 2

How to describe Web Colleagues. For me, it is a
membership Program that features, identifies, and
trains its members to do various "Work-at-Home
Employment Programs"

At the core of these work at home opportunities
are "Typing Programs", or data entry  programs.

However, these are not the traditional typing or
data entry opportunities that usually  come
to mind.

For me, the  reason  for this becomes clear when
you understand the higher income potential to the
Web Colleagues approach.

To be fair, lets get the definition from Web Colleagues
themselves. They define their organization as:

"a group of REAL type-at-home typists who are involved
with thousands of companies on the Internet. We work
directly with these companies and are paid for typing short
articles and posting them to the Internet. In return for our service..."

It is pointed out that members can earn a generous income
for the content or work they produce.

Web Colleagues further states that "With our program it is
very simple process. You type, and you get paid. The more
you type, the more you get paid...

This is an actual work-at-home typing Job. Our colleagues
receive complete online training and guidance. You are NOT
paying for a job the job is paying you..."

The message I want to leave with this post is Web Colleagues
is a membership that provides real work at home typing jobs,
but they are not, in my opinion, the traditional typing or data
entry jobs.  The variety of typing jobs available through Web
Colleagues are ones that offer a greater income potential.

To be fair, I suggest you take a look at their
site here:  Click Here for Web Colleagues

Ezine Advertising for the Work At Home Business

I wanted to start a dialogue about Ezine advertising,
which is a great way to promote a new product,
especially if you need a targeted market.

With ezine advertising, you can do just that at
a relatively low cost.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of ezines,
and all of them cater to a specific audience or
membership.  And you would be suprised as to
just how specific that membership can be.

The best place to look is, of course, the Directory
of Ezines.  So, if you have not checked them out,
do it  here.

Directory of Ezines

Ok, folks, hope things are going well.  Tomorrow
I will have  more information about ezine advertising.

Till then, stay kuhl.....

Total Web Traffic - Don't Run Before You Can Walk!

It's great to finally see that somebody has
thought of the little guys when creating a
product.

Dave Nicholson has just released an excellent
new product called 'Total Web Traffic' and it
really does offer exactly what is needed for the
every day user.

Total Web Traffic is a great traffic course with
loads of high quality videos that show you where
to get started and there is a whole load of
information, advice and tips that is separated
into tidy little modules so that is is simple to follow.

There are even interviews with some massive
marketers who explain their own methods that
they use to gain immense amounts of targeted
traffic to their sites.

I would really recommend this for anybody,
either starting out or even fully established.
Because, like Dave says: "Why settle for a
few hundred if you can have a few thousand,
and why settle for a few thousand when you
can have a few hundred thousand visitors"

Here is the link:  Total Web Traffic

Regards,

Warren.

On the Lighter Side - "A Nap Might Do You Good"

From Septemer 2008 Awake Magazine

"A study of over 23,000 Greek men and women concluded that taking at
least three daytime naps a week may reduce the risk of death from
heart attack by 37 percent.  "There is considerable evidence that both
acute and chronic stress are related to heart disease."  explains Dimitrios
Trichopoulos, a researcher and an epidemiologist at Harvard School
of Public Health, U.S.A. "Afternoon siesta," he says, "may act as a
stress-releasing process [and] reduce coronary mortality."

Work At Home Advertising - Getting to Know Me

Hi, Warren here, the guy who is trying to manage
this blog about "Work At Home Advertising".  But
first, good morning, afternoon, or good evening,
depending on your time zone.

I am in the Eastern USA/Canada Time Zone, in an
area known as "Northern Virginia, about 30 miles
southwest of Washington,DC. And, it is approximately
9:28 am here.

I started this blog about a month ago, and have been
experiencing with various forms of content.  But,
this morning, I was reading an  ebook about writing
content for websites, and this author was stressing
the need to add personal content.  Stuff about
yourself.

So, what to say?  I know.  I'll tell you about my
marketing experience and why I am settling on blogs
to run whatever business I choose.

That leads me to a confession.  You see, and this is
one of the strong motives for starting this blog, I am
a recovering "BOJ" Internet "Business Opportunity Jumper".
There, I said it!

Having said that, don't do what I have done.  If your
are not sure what I mean by a "Business Opportunity
Jumper", it's someone who joins, buys, or signs up for
the next, latest, and greatest, make you gobs of easy
money business opportunity.

And, if you have an email account?  Of course you have
an email account.  You know what I mean by the latest,
and greatest business opp.

Ok, I don't want to let this go on too long. You have
stuff to do, so let me stop here with a teaser.

In my next post, I will go deeper into this and actually
explore some positives about this habit, I am trying to
break.

Oh, I will do other stuff too.  I will also write about
Work At Home Advertising.  I mean, how novel is that?
Writing about the blog theme?

So, till next time, stay "Kuhl"... Best, Warren

Work At Home Advertising - Language Spoken wrapup.

Hi again, Warren here. Sorry for the lapse
in time, been doing some research and
found some neat stuff I want to share with
you.  But, in due time.

You know what Emperor Hadrian Said about the building
of Rome, don't you?  "Brick by brick, citizens, brick
by brick".

Same goes for your business.  Today, I want
to wrap up the Work At Home Advertising,
the Language Spoken segment.  Then I will
republish them in  a nice report.

There are only eight remaining terms, so here
goes....

Teleseminar

A phone call where people can listen and (usually)
several experts discuss a particular topic.
Teleseminar calls are often recorded and
provided to customers in MP3 format for later
listening.

Thank You  Page

The page a customer is sent to upon successful
payment for a product.  The thank you page is
often where links are provided to download the
product purchased.

local computer to a web server.  Uploading is
most often done using software and a process
called FTP.

Verified Opt-In

See Double Opt In listed previously.

Web Host

customers who want to have a web page.

means that the page that is printed or displayed
will look identical to the one that is composed.

OK {:>) were done.  Give me a couple of
days and I will upload the complete list for

Please don't forget the source of these elements
is the Directory Of Ezines.  And...if you
have not checked this valuable resource, stop
what your doing and go here right now.

               Directory of Ezines

In fact, I feel this is such an important resource
and well worth the membership fee, I am going
to do a separate blog just dedicated to a
review of the DOE.

Ok friends,  stay dry and keep "Kuhl"....

Work At Home Advertising - Language Spoken continued....

Good morning.  Getting close to the end of the terms list.
  Starting the "T's".

Target Marketing

The process of selling goods and services to a group of people
who have a common interest.  This term is identical to niche
marketing.

Testing Ads

The process of running one ad multiple times in the same ezine
and changing one element of the ad (such as the headline) each
time.  The goal of testing is to discover which combination of ad
elements (headline, body copy, call to action) work best with
each other.

Testing can  also mean running the same ad in different ezines to
see how it performs in front of different audiences.

Tracking Ads

The process of putting a tracking link in your ad.  A tracking
link is one that, when clicked on, will record the click and
redirect the  reader to the site you  want them to see.

Target URL

(Also called a destination URL)  A pay per click term meaning
the website where people will go when they click on your ad.

OK, that it for today, ad believe it or not, we wrap this up tomorrow.
Yeah.....

Take care.

Work At Home Advertising - Item of Interest for Keyword Research

Hi, I won't take much of your time, but wanted to let you in on a brand
new, free keyword research tool that's just been released.

The tool allows you to see anyones Adwords keywords they're bidding on!

Until now, nobody had access to this information, except for Google, and
the advertisers themselves.

This is going to completely change the way keyword research is done on the
internet. Not only for adwords, but any marketing that depends on
keywords for high traffic.

Anyway, I highly suggest that you go and download the tool while it's still
free, because I am guessing it won't be free for long.

You can get it here:    PPC Keyword Web Spy Tool

Enjoy!

Warren
P.S. Here's the link where you can get the free Adwords keyword tool again:

Work At Home Advertising - Language Spoken continued....

Hello again, hope your having a great day. A couple

my Work At Home Advertising – Language Spoken

order to test the effectiveness of those sales pages. Often
called A/B split testing, a program sends visitors to
alternative sales letters randomly even though they clicked
the same link.

Sponsor Ad

An ezine ad that is larger than a classified but smaller then
a solo ad. Sponsor ads are generally 10 to 20 lines deep by
65 characters wide and appear at the top of the ezine. They
can also appear in the middle of the ezine (middle sponsor)
or at the bottom of the ezine (bottom sponsor). The prices
of these ads vary, with top sponsor ads costing the most and
bottom sponsor ads the least.

Subscriber

A person who asks to join a mailing list.

Syndication

The process of displaying content from one site to another
site. This is usually accomplished by adding several lines

Till then stay Kuhl.....

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Hello, it's Warren back with some more Work

At Home Advertising Language and Terms.
Were getting to the home stretch being
half way through the “S's”.

Please don't forget, I am going to publish all
of these in one digital document for your
reference.

This list, is just an example, of the tangible
ways Charlie Page's Directory of Ezine's
can be such an asset to any work at home
advertiser. Have you gotten the idea that

I really think becoming a member would
be a good move?  I'll even go so far as to
say, if you did nothing but follow the direction
and advice in the DOE, you would have
a good chance of success online.

Sales Letter

The words on a webpage that convince visitors to
buy products.

Script

A set of commands that cause a computer to act
in a particular way. There re many scripting
languages (PERL and PHP) are just two. These
languages are the “code” that programmers use
to create programs.

Search Engine

A site that finds other sites or files based on
keywords. Google is a search engine where Yahoo
is a directory.

SEO

Stands for Search Engine Optimization. This is the
process of changing your webpage so that it is more
attractive to search engines. When a webpage is
properly optimized it is shown more often and in a
higher ranking on the search engine results page.

Shopping Cart

A script or service that allows website owners to
have autoresponders, create order forms, create
a catalog of products, manage client lists, deliver
digital products, run an affiliate program, and
more. All of this is done on one site or by using
one piece of software.

Solo Ad

An ad that is mailed to a list of ezine subscribers
on it own. Since no other ads are included in the
email sent to subscribers, the ad can be said to be
running “solo”.

That's it for today folks.  See you tomorrow.

Work At Home Advertising - Item of Interest

From November 2009 Awake Magazine

Climbing Stairs Improves Health
"Taking the stairs regularly is a simple and practical
means to improving health" reports the British medical
journal The Lancer.   Researchers asked 69 sedentary
employees to use only the stairs at their place of work
instead of the elevators.  After 12 weeks, the workers'
aerobic capacity had increased by 8.6 percent, which
gave them "a 15% reduction in all-cause mortality risk."
The workers also saw significant improvement in
their "blood pressure,  cholesterol, weight, fat mass,
and waist circumference."

Work At Home Advertising - Language Spoken continued....

Good morning.  It's 4:58 here in
Virginia, so I am  hard at work.

I am continuing with the Work At Home
Advertising Language, but decided
to add an item of interest in
a follow-up  post.

PPC (Pay Per Click Advertising)

A type of advertising in which the
advertiser pays only when someone
click on his or her ad.  Google
Adwords and Overture are the best
examples of pay-per-click advertising
although some website owners now offer
PPC to advertise as well.

PDF

Stands for Portable Document Format. A
trademark of the Adobe Company, PDF
files can be read by any computer that
has the free Adobe reader.

Publisher

The person or company who produces an
ezine.  In the case of a large ezine,
there might also be an editor who is
responsible for the  content of the
ezine.  Most ezine publishers also edit
their ezine.

RSS

RSS Stands for Really Simple Syndication
and is one format that websites use to
syndicate content.  To see content that
is syndicated, you need a special program
(called an aggregator) or you can view it
on certain websites designed for this purpose.

Work At Home Advertising - Language Spoken continued....

Hay folks.  By now, you are probably tired of  the language
of work at home advertising.  But, it's important, especially
when you start visiting sites as a potential affiliate.

It's been my experience that too many vendors, or
website owners just assume everybody understands
the jargon.  So, armed with your list that was thoughtfully
provided via Directory of Ezines, you have a leg up.

OK, we will just do the "O's" this time.  There are only
three of them.  Here goes.

Opt-in

The process of a reader requesting more information
from a site.  The reader is opting in to be included
on a mailing list, hence opt-in.  All legitimate email
marketers use an opt-in process to ensure that their
selling messages go only to people who want to receive
them.

I will add to this as well, that there is also recent legislation
that makes this compulsory.

Opt-In Subscriber

Ezines are only sent to people (subscribers) who ask for the
ezine by emailing a request to receive the ezine or filling
out a form on a website where the ezine is offered.  This opt-in
process is important because it ensures that the ezine is
delivered to people who are interested enough to request it.

Ezines are not mailed to non-subscribers, and have nothing
to do with bulk email or spam.

 Opt-Out

The process of sending email to people and telling them they
must ask to be taken off the list in order to stop receiving email.
Opt-Out is a bad marketing technique and most often
associated with spammers.

OK.  That the "O's", but what important "O's".   I may have
mentioned this, but I am always on the prowl for good freebies.
I mean useful books or videos.  So, you never know when I
have found one.  When I do, you will hear about it.

OK, till tomorrow....

Work At Home Advertising - Language Spoken continued....

Hay folks, Warren back with some excerpts from
Directory of Ezines, owner Charlie Page.
I know this seems lenghthy, but I am only
half way through the list.  I wanted to
provide them in short bits, so you would
have a chance to digest the content.

This post covers the "M's" and "N's".

Have you checked out Doe yet?

If not look for a link at the end of this post.

Moderator

The person who controls which  messages
are displayed on a forum.  The moderator is
usually an expert in the subject of the
forum he or she moderates, and helps keep
inappropriate postings off the list of
messages forum members see.  Inappropriate
messages are usually messages that contain
foul language, hate, or blatant advertising.

MP3

A type of audio file that can be heard on a
personal computer or MP3 player.  Most
teleseminars are recorded in MP3 format for
later listening.

Name Squeeze

A process invented by Jonathan Mizel that
describes a short web page that teases the
reader with some information and then
encourages them to provide their name and
email address to get further information.
Name squeeze is often used for lead
generation.

Newwork Marketing (MLM)

A type of business that  pays commissions
to people based  on the sales of other
people that they recruit.  The person
who  recruits others is called the upline,
while the person who was recruited is called
the downline.

Niche Marketing

Selling products and services to a group of
people with a common  interest. Although the
name "niche  marketing" is heard often these
days, marketers have always focused on "niches"
in order to make sales.

Here's your DOE Link:  Directory of Ezines

OK, till next time...Stay Kuel

Work At Home Advertising - Language Spoken continued....

Only three terms today, but really important ones.

HTML

Stands fo HyperText Markup Language, which is the code
that causes web pages to display text, images and pictures.

Joint Venture

This is an agreement between a person who owns a
mailing list and a person who wants to promote a
product where the list owner mails an ad for the
product and earns a percentage of all sales.

Lead Generation
The process of getting  people to ask for more
information about a particular product.  The
term lead generation is often sed in the MLM business
and sometimes used to describe the process of
co-registration.

Tomorrow we rush into the "M's".

Till then.....
